Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck Mark Second Wedding Anniversary: A Look Back at Their Rekindled Love Story

Two years ago today, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck took a gamble on love for a second time, eloping in an intimate ceremony in Las Vegas. The couple, who have been in the spotlight for their on-again, off-again relationship for over two decades, have remained tight-lipped about how they celebrated their cotton anniversary, the traditional gift for a second wedding anniversary.

Spending Time Apart Amidst Split Rumors

Since Lopez cancelled her summer concert tour in May, the pair have been photographed on opposite coasts for much of the summer. Lopez recently spent time in New York, while Affleck stayed in Los Angeles.  Earlier this month, they added fuel to the fire of rumors about marital woes when they put their California home up for sale after reports surfaced that they had been living separately.

Affleck famously popped the question with a pink diamond in November 2002. However, the couple postponed their wedding in 2003 due to excessive media attention. They ultimately called off their engagement in 2004.

• Separate Paths and New Beginnings

Both Lopez and Affleck went on to marry other people and start families. Lopez married singer Marc Anthony in 2004, while Affleck married actress Jennifer Garner in 2005.  Both marriages ended in divorce.
