Qiddiya Unveils Aquarabia, Largest Water Theme Park in the Middle East

Saudi Arabia – The Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC) announced plans to construct Aquarabia, the biggest water theme park in the region, on Monday. This announcement marks a significant milestone for Qiddiya's development as a premier entertainment, tourism, and sports destination.
Aquarabia is slated to open in 2025 and will be a cornerstone of the Six Flags Qiddiya City project, the first Six Flags park outside North America. Designed to attract visitors worldwide, the park will offer 22 attractions catering to families and thrill-seekers alike.
World-First Water Adventures Await
Aquarabia boasts several world-first attractions, including the
- Double water loop
- Tallest water coaster with the highest jump
- Longest and highest water racing track
- Tallest water slide
The park will also feature the first underwater adventure trip with diving vehicles, along with dedicated water sports areas for rafting, kayaking, canoeing, free solo climbing, and cliff jumping.
Sustainability at the Forefront
Committed to environmental responsibility, Aquarabia will utilize advanced systems to reduce water waste by up to 90% and minimize energy consumption. Additionally, the Six Flags Qiddiya project aims to recycle over 80% of operational waste.
A Fully Integrated Entertainment Hub
Aquarabia and Six Flags Qiddiya City will be situated within Qiddiya City, a walkable neighborhood offering a variety of activities, accommodations, dining options, and relaxation spots. This integrated approach caters to diverse entertainment needs and aligns with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 for tourism and job creation.

The unveiling of Aquarabia follows the announcement of other exciting attractions in Qiddiya, including the world's first multi-use gaming and esports arena, the Prince Mohammed bin Salman multi-sport stadium, and the Dragon Ball amusement park.
